Xerox Improves Competitive Position with Versant 2100

Last Friday Xerox announced a new 4-color, 100-ppm, production digital color printer called the Versant 2100 Press. Using a new ground-up design and offering three digital front end options (including two EFI Fiery units), the Versant 2100 replaces the DocuColor 8080 and will fit between the C75/J75 and the Color 800/1000 in the Xerox production color product line. No pricing has been announced. Order taking will begin worldwide in July.
