Choosing places to stay and eat can be challenging when travelling to new cities and countries. Over the last few years, I have turned to the service TripAdvisor and have found it to be tremendously helpful. I find much of what I read from reviewers to be very valuable and in some cases, insightful. As my way of paying it forward to others, I regularly write reviews of the hotels, restaurants, attractions, and places I have been to.

At InfoTrends we have been cautiously bullish about the potential of business inkjet technology for a number of years. Since 2005, InfoTrends has advocated for connected cameras. In the early days of smartphones, it was their built-in connectivity and the instant sharing that it enabled that helped to nibble away at low-end digital camera sales. Despite obstacles like mediocre image quality and expensive data plans, a large number of consumers chose the convenience of mobile photography over the superior image quality of even the simplest standalone cameras. The 2014 Wearable Tech Expo was held at the Jacob Javits Center in New York City at the end of July. The conference was focused on the emerging wearable device market and offered a wide range of speakers from device manufacturers and component suppliers to service providers and fashionistas.
